The Minn-Kota Festival  is an annual fundraising event for Mennonite Central Committee, a Christian resource meeting human need around the world. Mennonite Central Committee is involved in relief, health and education, agriculture, economic development, peace building, conflict management and justice issues. Mennonite Central Committee has 1000 workers serving "In the Name of Christ" in 55 countries.
