About Us
The Minn-Kota Festival For
World Relief is an annual fundraising event for Mennonite
Central Committee, (MCC) a Christian resource that helps meet human
need around the world. Some of the areas Mennonite Central Committee is
involved in include: health and education, agriculture, economic
development, peace building, conflict management, justice issues and
relief. Currently Mennonite Central Committee has approximately 1200
workers serving "In the Name of Christ" in about
60 countries.
As a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization,
we rely on the generosity of the hundreds of volunteer workers and
donors of South Dakota, Minnesota, and other areas to make each festival
a success. Our goal is to send 100% of the funds raised during the
festival to MCC. Minn-Kota Festival has
been able to send over 2.1 million dollars to assist people around the
corner and around the world.
