GENERAL MEETING
The next general meeting for the Minn-Kota Sale will be held on Saturday, April 21, at the Lincoln Hills Bible Church, 5401 S. Cliff Ave, Sioux Falls, SD at 1:00.  This will be the only meeting before the Sale so all booth chair people and church representatives are encouraged to attend.  Anyone interested in the Sale is also invited.  Brochures, calling cards, donation forms, organizational sheets & Coins for MCC material will be available for distribution.  Recipes and packaging for the Candy and Kitchen Time Savers booths will be available.  The newly revised floor plan will be reviewed.  Come, learn, and report back to your churches about the Minn-Kota Sale.   “Let’s Be On Fire For The Lord!”

WEB SITE AND PUBLICITY
The web site should be up and running shortly.  Check it out at www.minnkotasale.org.  New brochures are printed and out for distribution.  Tell people about the Sale, invite them to attend.  Help us get the word out! 

MCC RELIEF SALE WORKSHOP
Lynette and Pete Preheim, Co-Chairs of the Minn-Kota Sale will be attending a North American Mennonite Relief Sale Board Workshop in Hutchinson, KS, April 12 and 13, 2007.  Pete will be participating in a panel that will discuss how boards are organized and how they function. 

THRIFT STORE
WANTED:  Children's books and "chapter" books for young readers...all in best or better condition for the Thrift Store.  If you have books to donate take them to the Etc. Cetera Shoppe in Freeman, SD or the Care and Share Shop in Mt. Lake, MN.  If you have questions contact Barb Schrag or Kris Carlson at the Etc. Shoppe in Freeman.

«     Pre-packaged dry soup mixes, bread & cookie mixes for the Kitchen Time Savers booth.  Recipes furnished
«     Homemade candy for the Candy Booth. Recipes provided.
«     Quilts, afghans, wall hangings, furniture, bears & dolls, wood items, toys, toolboxes, metal craft, etc. for the Auction & Craft Booth
«     Baked goods, pies, jams, honey, etc for the Country Bakery
«     Items for the children to buy at the Kid’s Stuff Auction
«     Fresh garden produce and plants for the Garden Booth
