Let Kindness Rock The World!

Motivational Speaker -  Bob Votruba

http://www.onemillionactsofkindness.com

“One Million Acts Of Kindness is a goal. A goal for each person to individually perform One Million Acts Of Kindness in their life. Can you imagine a greater goal for one’s life? It is a constant mind-set of kindness every day of your life for the next fifty-five years. Doing for others and kindness in your heart for everyone. It is my wish that you will dedicate your life to a charity… finding the passion in your heart for something or someone in need.

As a father of three college age kids I am concerned for the world in which all kids will live. A great way to create a safer, more caring world is for everyone to start their lifetime goal of One Million Acts Of Kindness. So I bought a bus, had about sixty family members, friends and neighbors help paint it and began a ten year journey with my Boston Terrier, Bogart, to college campuses across the country hoping to convince as many of you as possible about this much needed movement for this world. I love you guys too much to sit back and not do anything about this. Let’s start a kindness movement in this country today to change the direction this world is headed!! You are the change that this world needs.”

CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL    Shaking in our Boots With Fun:  Helping Earthquake Victims

Let the excitement begin!

Children, old and young, there is excitement waiting for you at the 2010 Children's Festival!  The festival will kick off Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with the "Children's Stuff Auction"  with exciting items like admission passes, sports tickets, and fun stuff.  After the auction our activity booths will open.  For every $5 "Fun Pass" you buy you will be able to enjoy 12 activities.  In addition there will be rope making, school kits, and other things to purchase.  Penny Power will also be available so save your pennies.  All funds raised will go to earthquake relief.  For an up-to-date list of items in the auction as well as what booths are going to be available, go to the children's festival section of the sale website (www.minnkotasale.org).  We will be updating the site as information becomes available so check back often!

Church and Civic groups, we need your help now!!!!!!!!  We are opening our doors to many new people at this year's 2010 Children's Festival.  In order to have the Children's Festival be a success we need groups (youth groups, Sunday School classes, civic groups, or co-ops of families) to create and man either a craft or activity booth.  It won't take much time and it will be lots of fun.  There are endless ideas and options.  (There will even be an award for the best themed booth!)  Let your booth be a witness for both your love for God and His people as well as your church or organization.  Contact Sandy Robertson, chair of the Children's Festival, at
robertsons@hughes.net or 605-624-3197 for any questions or to sign your group up today!
REMEMBER - The festival can get bigger and better only with your help.

IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
